Mission Statement

This is a blog for all fine artists, for those who love art and for all those who supply art materials, tools and various methods of marketing.  I am a professional sculptor (stevenlknight.com) and my wife is a professional painter (laurelknight.com).  Art by Knight is not about the art we are creating as much as it is about art as we, humanity, experience and are impacted by its presence, how it is defined and how it is created.  This site will serve as an informative, interactive gathering place, open to all who would like to participate, sharing in ideas, feelings and resources.  For those of us who spend countless hours in various degrees of solitary studio time, this is the opportunity to brain pool with a collective voice.  I will begin the subject matter and content, open to suggestions as to direction.
